Scaffolding Licence Pricing:

• £129.17 per linear metre + £280.00 Inspection Fee + £100 per linear metre refundable bond making a minimum payment of £1,655.02.
• £161.00 for 1 month's extension

  Pricing for the first month is calculated as follows:

  £129.17 per linear metre with a minimum site cost of £775.00 (equivalent to a 6 metre site) - Example: 6mtr site = £775.02, 7mtr site = £904.19, 8mtr site = £1,033.36

  £280.00 Inspection Fee – This is as follows under the New Roads & Street Works & Traffic Management Act code of inspections, (3 inspections A, B and C below at the prescribed rate of £85.00 each visit + £25.00 administration costs).

  1. A site inspection undertaken prior to the progress of the works at application stage.
  2. An inspection undertaken within the prescribed 28 days, during progress.
  3. An inspection undertaken after the prescribed 28 days or following completion of works.

  There are also cancellation fees to note to cover the Council's administration cost which are the following:

  1. Where an application has been submitted and there is a cancellation request, there will be a 15% charge of the application fee received, not including the deposit.
  2. Where an application has been submitted and a site visit has been undertaken then a cancellation request has been received, there will be a 30% charge of the application fee received, not including the deposit.
• Extension requests should be made at least a week before the licence expires. If you need the scaffold licence for a fourth month, you need to apply for a new licence.
