An exciting opportunity has arisen, in Redbridge SEN, for a Qualified Teacher of the Deaf or a teacher who is keen to train.

The SEaTSS Service is one of the largest and most dynamic SEN Teams in the country; approximately 70 specialist teachers, HLTAs and Technicians are all committed to the SEaTSS Ethos where the “pupils’ needs are at the heart of all we do”.

Here is a short video:

We are looking for someone to share our passion for developing and promoting our growing reputation, whilst always keeping the best interest of the pupil at the centre of our decision making.

If you are a highly self-motivated creative individual who has the commitment and energy to contribute to this vibrant service, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.  We can promise you that no two days will ever be the same, that you will become part of a truly supportive, experienced, and forward-thinking team who are committed to the evolution of a greater offer to our schools, settings and families.

SEaTSS is looking to appoint a positive and creative Qualified Teacher of the Deaf (TOD), to join our Sensory Team. We provide an advisory service to pupils with sensory impairments across a range of settings within the Local Authority.

Candidates will be passionate about teaching deaf pupils or those with a hearing loss across the age range (0-25) and must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

For further information or if you wish to speak informally to a member of team, please email seatss@redbridge.gov.uk and a team member will respond.
