The clerk to the governors will prepare agendas and meeting papers, take accurate and well-constructed minutes, give administrative support, keep records and up-to-date information on policies and date of reviews, and provide procedural and legislative advice to the governing board. They must have excellent organisational, communication and ICT skills.
The clerk should be reliable, proactive, efficient and well organised. The role will require good listening and interpersonal skills. You should be professional, friendly and approachable and able to deal with confidential matters.
