We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant with experience in engaging pupils who may be disengaged from education and supporting them in the classroom and sometimes via small group or individual work. These pupils may have SEND needs and/or contextual factors affecting their success in school.
The successful candidate will have a strong ability to build positive relationships with pupils who respond well to firm but empathetic mentoring, particularly those who benefit from structured guidance and behaviour management strategies. Experience working with young people who have SEMH needs and require additional motivation and support is essential.
This post is will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
