Little Heath School is a secondary special school catering to pupils with learning difficulties and complex needs, situated in a pleasant setting on the outskirts of the London Borough of Redbridge. The school currently has 235 pupils enrolled. We are seeking Learning Support Assistants to work closely with class teachers in a special educational needs (SEN) school. You will support individual students or small groups, helping them with academic, social, and emotional development. The role involves managing challenging behaviors, assisting with personal care when needed, and supporting the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs). Experience in handling challenging behaviors is essential, as you'll help create a positive, inclusive learning environment and enable students to reach their full potential. The successful candidate must be honest, have a strong work ethic, and be comfortable working in a setting with children who have Special Educational Needs.
