EXPERIENCED TEACHING ASSISTANTS REQUIRED

FOR HLTA POSITIONS (Home Tuition Team)

 

Location: Ray Lodge Centre, Woodford Green, IG8 7PG

32 hours 30 mins. per week, 8.30 – 3.30 pm (not negotiable)

Term time only 44.46 weeks only but paid pro rata /split over 52 weeks

 

We have a vacancy for two (2) skilled Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, qualified to NVQ3 or equivalent, to join SEaTSS (Specialist Education and Training Support Service).

If you are an experienced HLTA or Teaching Assistant with a record of excellent practice, a flexible mindset and prepared to work across all age groups, then this may be the new challenge you are looking for.

 

Working collaboratively with mainstream schools across the Local Authority, you will be asked to:

  • Support transition back to school
  • model good practice
  • help to establish support programmes and interventions
  • deliver training
  • provide emergency support to protect school placements where necessary

 

You will possess a sound knowledge of SEND practice and procedures and have excellent verbal and written communication and IT skills. Experience of or an interest in working with pupils with SEMH and/or associated learning /medical needs would be an advantage.

 

This is an exciting role that will suit an experienced and successful Teaching Assistant seeking to join a highly skilled and talented Specialist HLTA Team that is well-respected across the Local Authority.
