Little Heath School is seeking an ambitious and dedicated SEND Teacher with a strong focus on PSHE to join our specialist provision; to shape and lead a curriculum that directly supports independence, emotional wellbeing and Preparation for Adulthood outcomes for pupils with complex needs, aged 11–19, with autism, learning difficulties and complex needs and delivered across three pathway groups: pre-formal, semi-formal and formal. Across all pathways, teaching is aligned to EHCP outcomes and Preparation for Adulthood. Our practice is underpinned by our Universal Offer: low-arousal environments, structured teaching and visual support, communication that reduces cognitive load and planned regulation and co-regulation. These active ingredients are non-negotiable and shape classroom experience.
