Ilford County High School (ICHS) is seeking an exceptional Head of Department for English to join our high-performing team. In this pivotal role, you will help drive continuous improvement across the faculty, ensuring that our curriculum is engaging, challenging, and responsive to the needs of our diverse and highly motivated learners.
Heads of Department work with SLT to ensure consistent improvement in the department. They positively contribute to and implement departmental, and school policies to maximise pupil progress. As leader of a team of teachers, Heads of Department have a key role in setting high expectations for students and teachers and making best use of resources to secure excellent outcomes.
