Gearies Primary School is a friendly, culturally diverse school in Gants Hill. We were recently rated outstanding by Ofsted.
We are looking to appoint a versatile, enthusiastic, experienced classroom practitioner to provide support to children across the school with special educational needs from September 2026.
The position is term time only for 32 hours per week, 8.30am to 3.45pm (3.15pm finish one day per week)
Salary range: £22,311 to £22,629 per annum (actual salary)
We are looking for a colleague who:-
Enjoys working with children
Has experience of working with children with special educational needs
Has excellent communication skills
Holds GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English Language (or equivalent)
Has a minimum Level 2 qualification in a relevant field
