Order copy or replacement certificates for delivery within the UK

Copy/replacement certificates for births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships that have taken place in Redbridge, are available to order online for delivery within the UK.

Standard certificate requests are processed within 15 working days of our receiving the order. The fee for the standard service is £12.50 per certificate.

Priority certificate requests will be processed by close of business on the following working day. The fee for the priority service is £38.50 per certificate.

You can choose for the certificate(s) to be issued by:
2nd class Royal Mail post at no additional cost. Certificates will be sent in a standard A5 envelope.
Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day delivery by 1pm. There is a £10.00 fee per order. Certificates will be sent in an A4 hardback envelope.
Or you can choose to collect from the Town Hall, Ilford. You will be notified by telephone or email when your certificate(s) is ready for collection.

Please note, that the delivery time is in addition to the processing time.

Before you place an order, please make sure the event took place in Redbridge. If we carry out a search and do not hold the record you are looking for, we will keep a search fee of £12.50 and refund any additional costs you have made (Priority Service, postage). If this is the case, you can apply to the General Register Office for the certificate you require.
