Cranbrook is a large 4 form entry mainstream school with a 39 place Nursery serving a diverse local community. We have 2 additional resource provisions – one for social and communication (ARP) needs and the other for behaviour support (CUBE).
We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant with experience in working with children who have complex needs and autism. The successful candidate will be based in our SEN HUB, providing support to children with a range of complex Sensory and Physical needs.
We seek an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is genuinely passionate about fostering children’s educational and social growth. This role involves implementing personalised plans that incorporate extensive outdoor activities. Flexibility to engage regularly in outdoor work is crucial, along with the ability to safely manage and, when necessary, gently restrain challenging behaviours.
